It's alfresco time. Fiorella Valdesolo of the New York Observer has compiled a list of the top 10 outdoor dining spots around the city. It's rare that we agree with a complete list. But this top 10 list is pretty much spot on. The only problem with the #1 is the damn line that wraps around the park. Since it's August and everyone will be fleeing the city for the weekend, why not take advantage? Head to the shack for a little line-free outdoor eating action.

And if this were strictly a list of places to drink, we'd also add:
Bushwick Country club for their miniature golf course
Huckleberry Bar for those yummy gin drinks
Sun Roof bar for that zany view of the Empire State building from the roof La Quinta Hotel in Koreatown
